Training Summary:

The goal of this training is to reduce applicant violations of the Federal procurement regulations by training participants on the Federal procurement requirements set forth at 2 C.F.R. §§ 200.317 through 200.326 (the "Uniform Rules").  Violations of the Federal procurement requirements can result in reduced Federal grant funding. This training will focus on the requirements set forth in the Uniform Rules so that participants can identify and avoid potential violations of the Federal procurement requirements.


The Procurement Disaster Assistance Team (PDAT) was established in 2014 to educate and inform recipients and subrecipients about the procurement requirements for grants that they may be eligible for under the Public Assistance grant program.  PDAT makes Procurement Under Grants (PUG) presentations across the country after disasters have been declared and has built successful partnerships with the communities that FEMA serves.  When PDAT is not presenting, it is positioned to answer grant-related procurement questions from FEMA Public Assistance and Regional Counsel colleagues in the regions and the field.

Instructions for Participants:

This webinar will be provided through Adobe Connect (instructions for using Adobe Connect).  Participants should click on the link provided a few hours prior to the scheduled webinar to ensure that the program properly loads on his or her computer. 

Participants should sign into the meeting as guests.  They should enter their name and organization in the field provided for name.
Please join the audio conference at least 5 minutes in advance so that we may start the training on time and avoid late entry interruptions.  Don't forget to mute your phone after logging on to minimize background notes.  Please do not put the call on hold at any point during the training.  Also, please stay on the line for the duration of the training so that the facilitator is not interrupted by the "beeps" when participants hang up early.
