PI&T EXERCISE

Pandemic Influenza and Terrorist Exercise

On behalf of Brigadier General John Heltzel, you are cordially invited to participate in a statewide pandemic influenza and terrorist exercise that will be held August 3-7, 2009. The exercise runs Monday through Thursday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. and from 8:00 A.M. to noon on Friday.

This exercise is unique in that it allows you the opportunity to participate in a statewide exercise without leaving home. It is our desire that you will work with other partners in your community to determine your level of preparedness for a major flu outbreak. It will be a success if government agencies and officials, schools, emergency response agencies, emergency management officials and businesses join together to prepare for the inevitable – another pandemic influenza.
